San Francisco International Airport (SFO) Opens “Yoga Room” in T2

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) Opens “Yoga Room” in T2Air travel got you stressed out?  We’ve got just the spot for you, a first of its kind Yoga room in the Airport’s completely refurbished Terminal 2.  Located just past the security checkpoint and adjacent to the Recompose Area, the room offers visitors the opportunity to step into a space devoted to contemplation and self reflection.

Gensler, the architects of Terminal 2, designed a room enveloped in a calming blue color. A floating wall symbolizes a buoyant spirit and enlightened mind.  Large, felt-constructed rocks resembling Zen garden spaces are complimented by low and warm light levels.  Melissa Mizell, Gensler Design Director says, “Throughout the terminal, Gensler’s design aims to elevate the jpassenger experience.  The Yoga Room gives modern travelers a space that fosters and supports quiet and reflection. Those aren’t emotions that people typically encounter at the airport.”  For additional information, visit
